Linwood believes that his ministry through gospel music is where God wants him to be and has been blessed for the past 40 years of seeing many souls won to christ as a result of this ministry.
"Gospel Music has been good to me. God has been good to me! Not only doing what I feel that God has called me to do, he has given me the opportunity to meet and become friends with many people, some I will cherish their friendship forever. Who would have ever thought a country boy from Durham, NC would have ever became personal friends with the likes of J.D. Sumner, Hovie Lister, George Younce, Bill Gaither, Jake Hess, Rosie Rozell, James Blackwood, The Big Chief, and many many more of my heros of Gospel Music. I thank God everyday for giving me the opportunity and allowing me to continue to do what I love so much! None of which could I have done without God's grace and my partner of 40 years, J.L. Jackson."
