"Shep", as we call him, has been with The Spokesmen since 1998. He sings the tenor and is one of the finest tenors that Gospel Music has to offer. A crowd favorite at all personal appearances, he stands there and sings with all his heart and with such ease.

The Spokesmen is the first gospel group that he has ever sang with. Prior to devoting his vocal talents to God, Shep sang professionally in a variety of music fields. He has performed in Nashville and Las Vegas on a regular basis until God directed him to "His ministry". A songwriter, musician, and a perfect gentleman has added a special touch to The Spokesmen. We're glad he is one of us!

Shep is married to Cathy and they live in Greensboro, NC. Cathy kept asking until Shep finally said yes..I know he really married her, I was there. The preacher had to ask him several times before he finally answered. He was hung up on the question of "for better or worst and that everything would become one. He was thinking of his money....took him a while but he finally got "I do" out.
